Recital Scheduling

As you look at possible dates for your recital, please note a few details:

Please do not schedule a recital for a Friday or Saturday evening at 4PM  6PM or 8PM.

Please avoid events already on the above schedule.

Monday thru Thursdays at 8PM are fine.
Fridays or Saturdays are good at NOON or 2PM.
Sundays are good after 4PM.

For CMDI Majors I would encourage you to also connect with Dr. Parsons as he has similar limitations.

I hope you understand that I’m not trying to make this about me. I simply would love to continue doing *all the things* without having to make difficult choices. If I must choose, I will always choose you!

Also, please don’t schedule on the Friday or Saturday preceding or following Spring Break.  You will be asked to reschedule.

Tommy Emmanuel's Tuning Secrets
• Be aware of compromises based on tuning, string tension, fretting pressure and changes in tension on the neck or tremolo

It takes time and attention to develop your ear to recognize subtle differences in tuning. Remain open to the idea that there is more to hear and learn than you already know. Don't be afraid to switch between using your ear and a tuner to verify what you think you are hearing  is correct.
